A Part of Ireland Now Aims to equip members of the refugee community with key skills as educators.  These refugees will train in facilitation and communication skills and will be supported in working with target groups in their community to provide educational sessions. Jesuit Refugee Service There is a danger in areas of a high concentration of refugees and immigrants that hostility in the local population will become a problem.  There is a need for local people to take ownership of the situation.  This project aims to be a catalyst for this to occur. Africa Solidarity Centre Aims to develop a self help cultural and social support project targeted primarily at the African refugee community in Ireland.The project will enable the community to promote and share with others their cultural heritage and contribute towards promoting  intercultural communication.
